TÜV Thüringen maintains close cooperation with many institutions, associations and initiatives, for which it acts as multiplier. We need networks and innovation to be successful. Therefore, TÜV Thüringen is convinced that commitment is a necessity for a proponent of safety and quality in the interest of its members and advances innovation.

European Metropolitan Region Central Germany
The Association “European Metropolitan Region Central Germany” is the merger of the Industrial Initiative for Central Germany with the Metropolitan Region of Central Germany. The aim is to ensure sustainable development and marketing of the traditional economic, scientific and cultural region of central Germany. To this end, the association plans concrete projects in the fields of action location marketing, promotion of innovation, cluster processes, securing skilled personnel, sustainability and family-friendliness, transport and infrastructure as well as culture and tourism to initiate.
automotive Thüringen e.V.
Automotive Thüringen e.V. ("at") was originally founded in 2000 by 9 thuringian companies as Automobilzulieferer Thüringen e.V. (AZT). The goal is to strengthen thuringian automobile supplier companies. Today, it has 109 members, which employ approximately 30,000 people and has brought in a turn-over of about 4,2 billion Euros.
Thuringian initiative group „The natural gas powered vehicle“
Since more than 10 years the thuringian initiative group „The natural gas powered vehicle“ is engaged in fuel studies regarding “natural gas”, pushes the expansion of filling stations and links energy provider and automotive industry, public and politics, science and technology at Free State of Thuringia.
The initiative committee is a caucus of Thüringer Stadtwerke, local energy providers and companies of the gas industry. The committee’s goal is to make “natural gas” as an environmentally friendly fuel alternative more well-known.
Stiftung für Technologie, Innovation und Forschung Thüringen (STIFT)

The „Stiftung für Technologie, Innovation und Forschung Thüringen (STIFT)“ was founded 1993 as a civil law foundation at Erfurt/Thuringia. Its generously aim is the sponsorship of science, research and technology at Thuringia. This from the founder - Free State of Thuringia - predefined goal aims for support of development and opening up of knowledge based, regional and endogenetic capabilities of Thuringia.
Initiative Erfurter Kreuz e.V. (IEK)
Initiative Erfurter Kreuz e.V. (IEK) is a company consortium located near to or at industrial area “Erfurter Kreuz”. The association’s goal is to support the economy in the region around the industrial area “Erfurter Kreuz”. Especially a contribution shall be made to develop the region around “Erfurter Kreuz” to a noted and respected region of the thuringian economy nationally and internationally, to sustain and to expand it. This goes along with the sustainable ensuring of the skilled personnel for the location.
The European Charter for Road Safety
The European Road Safety Charter is a European participatory platform made up of enterprises, associations, research institutions and public authorities. These actors undertake to carry out concrete actions and share their good practices in order to resolve the road safety problems that they encounter in their day-to-day environments. The objective of the Charter is to help reduce road fatalities. The Charter has more than 2.000 signatories.
Arbeitgeberverband Thüringen e.V. (Thuringian Employers Association)
Arbeitgeberverband Thüringen e.V. (AGVT) is a voluntary inter-branch association of thuringian enterprises from the service sector and the manufacturing industry. It represents its member’s interests on the labour and social law area, labour science as well as labour market-, social-, economic-, environment-, education- and social policy.
