ASME authorized inspection agency (AIA)

Material and Weldings
A common problem in international business is the selection of materials, each of which already meet the national requirements and must comply now also the international requirements, such as ASME. TÜV Thüringen e.V. answered this question in accordance with the stipulations in the ASME Code Section II. Of course, this advice can also be done in connection with statements of other regulations regardingprocessing and weldability. When developing welding procedure specifications (WPS) or procedure qualifications(PQR) to complete welding supervision can stand TÜV Thüringen e.V. competently its experience to the side.

Problems in the area of the blast resistance and minimize notch effects (also on welds) are also available. In special cases where it seems reasonable considering the cost, own calculation software can be created.
TÜV Thüringen e.V. is limited in its ASME activities not only to the pure calculation, but also brings to a project support in design and manufacturing processes. Through the use of multiple CAD systems, the experts will be able to read almost any geometry format to perform desired calculations / optimizations, where necessary, propose design changes and to make the revised geometry detail drawing compliant available again.
